ASSESSMENT OF LAND DEFORMATION AND LAND USE RELATIONSHIP IN GARMSAR ALLUVIAL FAN USING SENTINEL-1 DATA

Abstract. Differential Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry (DInSAR) allows displacements to be detected with millimeter accuracy as well more advanced methods, such Persistent Scatterer (PSI). Sentinel-1 data have been collected systematically under the COPERNICUS program at a high temporal resolution global coverage, helping us build wide user community and develop miscellaneous SAR-based applications. In Garmsar alluvial fan, long-term groundwater overexploitation due agricultural urban demands, utilization of space, erosion led land deformation. this study, analysis subsidence in fan was assessed by using Interferometric technique based on 20 SAR images from January 2019 June 2022. Distinct variations were found study regions however, it can seen most use types. The maximum annual rate has occurred areas an average 95.2 mm/year Analysis showed that serious mainly following types: areas, lands, bare lands.
